Feeling rather chuffed with myself tonight!

Ive been working on my allotment today, the forcast said rain, un i got invite to go ice skating but i went noooo and went and did 3 hours hard graft instead. Mad i maybe but its makin me feel good and its actually very rewarding!

After pulling up TONS of ivy and glass we had a mega bonfire before the rain came un the plot is getting bigger un bigger un bigger!!! Suzanne is a wicked fire starter! The plot is about 20ft wide by 60ft long un as crappy as it maybe, its mine un im gonna make it brill in the end  so ner!

Went up for a bit on wednesday, a short bit! I was using someones rotavator again but all the roots were just jamming it up and giving me sore hands where it was pulling me about, so that was just frustrating.  Gonna have to dig it over pull out the roots and then rotavate it...hmmm.  I have already asked my wonderful parents if they will help hehe. Gotta make the most of them when they are home eh?

My seeds in the house are coming up good...altho they could be called sprouts now We did a bulk load of planting i think it was last saturday un put in every type of seed possible hehe. The melons had to go in the airing cupboard where its nice and dark...but i planted them with pumpkins, which i didnt know germinate real fast and dont like the dark ... so they have come thru all anemic and are already half an inch high cos they have been straining for light! oops. So they will get re-potted on the weekend and the melons can stay in the dark.

The toms are nearly an inch high and just growing their second set of leaves, they need bigger pots now.

The sunflowers have been re-potted already and are over an inch but seeing as im no good at guessing the size ill just say that till i measure them

The chilli/peppers have germinated but im not sure which they are yet, the lettuce is ok, but its leaves not propper lettuce so kinda looks like weeds if not planted in nice straight rows!  Yes Dink did plant some in rows...ill upload the pics sometime. *makes a note for self... must take pics on camera, not my phone so i can put them on here easier* The cherry pips are not showing yet, neither are any of the other bits i put in the other day, which is good cos if they were they would be miracle seeds!

So as i sit here drinking a glass of home made cider, stinking of bonfires, full of bramble scratches un bruised i shall go put some pics in the allotment gallery (or whatever its called lol) un look forward to my bed cos im wiped!
