So im going all farmerish

We have the chickens...which since having to spend more time in their run (due to the lawn (oh how posh) having no grass in it, its too early for re-grassing so i have been told but im trying to save whats left.) Have been laying more eggs! We had 2 yesterday, Bunny and one of the bantums whoop hehe.

Anyways... I got an upright plastic green house thing, and a seed starter offerer for the window sill, and some seed trays and we have sun flower seeds, and tomatos and some red poppies(i only seem to be able to grow yellow ones!) .  Mrs. C has ordered me some spud bags and says i can have some seeds from her. Plus ive kept some cherry stones, pepper and chilli seeds from food we have eaten.  So yeah seeing as i cant really grow plants in my garden cos of the chucks...i thort id try un use it another way, grow food but in a way the chucks cant destroy it.  Should be interesting haha. Plus im still on the alotment list...its been a few years now... do i really want to stay on it or will i be happier here?? hmmmmm.

Also got a small incubator!  Thinking about hatching some button Quails, or bantum chucks that arnt related to ours.  Dunno yet...the male/female hatch rate in bantums is said to be more male and i really cant be doing with having to cull something i brought into the world... i dont really eat chicken like that, and altho im ok with it being food once i have got it into my head thats what its for, i couldnt personally do it.  Plus boy chucks are really hard to shift! But yeah button Quails look fun and oh so cute!

So yeah im gonna think about putting my green house together, and maybe read the planting times of seeds Yay for lazy sundays!!
