As i sit here with my glass of 'fake' Baileys and mars bar waiting for my 'pummel it half heartly' loaf to cook i can honestly say im wiped out!

It was a i dont want to be awake day today... mainly because i had to do my 'leave it to the last minute' tax return!  Why do i leave it to the very last day to send it eh? WHY??  Note to self... do tax return in april yeah.

So i did it, it may of taken me 5 hours of fannying about and trying to find all the right bits but its done and now i can chill for a bit... well im trying but its not happening quite yet

So i have been thinnking that i have totally neglected alot of the things i find joy in... why? Hehe im questioning myself alot tonight.  So yesterday i put pen to paper and drew a bird type thingy.  I had been working in the garden, moving slate chippings, putting the wood chip back on the where are all the flowers-flower beds (thanks chickens!) and tidying the garage... i chucked out a load of 'stuff' and used some bits of the stuff to make a bird table of sorts. Its surprising what you can make from the pole an old punch bag and the bottom of a lamp!   So yeah im guessing that all that bird related stuff came thru in my drawing.  Plus i lurve birds!

Its the first thing i have drawn and been happy with in what seems like forever.  It must be a year at least since i have put pen to paper and again i am asking myself why!?

Other stuff hmm we got 3 new chucks last year, lil roo, peach and kiwi.  They are buff pekin bantams, or cochin's take your pic they both look the same. One boy, 2 girls.  One of the girls... or maybe both are laying eggs... i thort it was kiwi but i found one after peach had been in the nest box the other day... so who knows.  I havent had 2 eggs on the same day so cant be sure.  Maybe it has been Peach the whole time!  We trimmed the feathers on Peaches feet just so we could tell them apart Cos they are identical!  The other 2 girls are still not laying! lmao lazy girls.

Ive been doing lots of chucking out, spending too much time on facebook playing bejeweled blitz...tiz oh so addictive! Working, being a pants (or so it feels) mum, and trying to have a relationship... which after 8 years of just me and Pud is an alien concept.   Trying to control my colitus and my bi-polar and doing all the above whilst trying to stay happy   Another note to self... go away before christmas as you only have a nervous break down!  That time of year is a big no-no for Dink.

So this year im gonna try and do more on my web site, keep a check on the other places i vist on the net rather than waste my time on facebook.  Try and be a better mum.  Make more art, take more photos, listen to what i want more and not let the moon ruin my sleep patterns!  Haha yes i have found a link there

As for now i have a loaf to rescue!
