I dunno where this month has gone :) Something must of been distracting me from my life...hmmm. Lets blame it on not going on my desktop...cant devour the internet from an android hehe.

Well i was hoping to of made a ton of stuff to show you but i have not had the creativity or the motivation for art haha. The joys of being an over emotional Dink... easily sent into spirals of extreme highs which can only lead to the 'woah thats a dark place'. Not to worry, Dinks been living in this world of mental head spaces since she was 11, without it this site wouldnt exsist :D

High or low i can deal with it.... tough bird me... its the manic i cant do.Manic makes me do things like... sort beads! Absorbed in colour and a task that stops my fruitloopy tendencies. So pretty, it calms me down being absorbed in a non thinking way.

Un manic is where ive been since thursday night, manic caused by conflict between head un heart, right un wrong. Someone should really lock me away from all technology when manic cos im gonna probably get into trouble... whoops. Could of been worse Android decided to be evil instead, it jammed un saved the day...kinda lol.

So Valentine day stuff... meh. I was all up for it un have started makin bits but now i dont wanna lol... my hearts lost, i can only create colourful dark bits hehe which will be beautiful (of course) to me :P Actually thats a fib my heart is now in a little red box sitting infront of me all safe...un thats where it is staying, for a bit anyways. Shame i cant find the right box for my mind haha.

I have however finished (finally) some wish boxes... I shall add more picture to Flickr dinks-designs2012 eventually hehe, im just so good at procrastinating its unreal ;) But i will let you have a tiny peek at one now. Hiya, Happy New Year to you all. Right bear with as i gather my wits about me. I cant believe we are already 11days into the new year! Wow where did that go eh?? Im updating from the comfort of my sofa, new toys... tiny android tablet, tiny add on key pad that connects via a usb, un wire-less internet haha Dink joins the real world!

This gadget is fab, yeah i know it is a touch screen and yes i do use it but for typing like this the key pad in a case is wicked :) Why dont i use the touch screen all the time? Well now dont laugh but as tactile as i am im slightly OCD and decided that finger prints on the screen would do my head in haha. Why Android un not i-pad? im not made of money... very simular but a quarter of the price, yeah ok they dont have all the apps yet but im sure i will live.

Why am i monging on lol this isnt the place for it... oh yeah i wanted to test out a post from elsewhere than my desktop...so far so good! Not sure how i am going to get the text green so you can see it but there you go.

Right then that will do :D I have a few wish boxes i have finished, i shall photograph and upload details asap, then its onto making all things red and lovey dovey for the dreaded valentines day next month. Yeah ill probably make a few anti-valentines bits to haha. Gotta be done.

Well this is Dink just about signing off from my virtual world for the last time in 2011.

I have had a most productive day adding to my home page and milling around the net.

I opened a new Flickr account (dinks-designs2012) as i couldnt get into my old one, whoops hehe. Not to worry, im hoping this step will inspire me to get on with my new years resolutions and take more pictures, create more art and to share! :D

I so hope you have a wonderful time bringing in the New Year, i was going to do my usual hermit stuff but am thinking i may try summit different...am undecided as of yet :) Choices choices eh? Either way i am going to go cook Fahitas, open a bottle of wine, chill with Pud and NOT be on the net at midnight.

Not long till Christmas now peeps. Yes im oh so excited this year... why? Hmm not sure on that one. But i am.

Maybe its because ive been making Xmas wreaths? Arnt they pretty? ;) I will have to start taking orders earlier next year for sure.

I have the fidgets, so am just popping by to wish you Happy Holidays of all sorts.

We have Happy Discardia from now until the 24th of December... ive been practising this for a few years now and am finally getting the knack of it! Although the more i seem to shift, the more comes my way still... but im sure that in 2012 i will find out why ;)

Happy Winter Solstice to all from 5.30am on Thursday the 22nd December! So hoping its a beautiful start to the day up at stone henge... cant believe its been a year since there was snow up there! Im guessing we should enjoy it as next years is said to be the end of the world! (bad Mayan calendar) so maybe i wont have to worry about getting Discardia right after all :D hehe.

Right i must go now...i should be wrapping gifts.

Knotting my digital footprint.

Its been a weird week, lots going on in the 'real' world, lots of 'maybe' change and many un-answered question marks which, may or may not know will push me into further into the virtual world... which will spark doing and creativity...eventually :D

Virtual life... Im knotting my digital footprint... inter linking all the places i go. Which at the mo is in progress... quite chuffed at how much progress ive made today, ok so it didnt get the food shopping done, but im hoping when ive finished it will help generate traffic to my website ;)

In the real world... Im making wish boxes...slowly. Im a self taught artist and sometimes take an unexpected turn in my creating process...which either helps or in this case hindered! The joys of being impacient didnt work in my favour haha. Plus doing the knotting on the web has put some interesting images in my mind.

My camera is charged, its straining to take some crafty photos for you all to see... but i dont want to show you yet. :P

I will however share this christmassy item i made many a year ago :)

Well now... :D

Who would of thought the beginning of October would of been oh so hot?! That caught us out eh.... sun cream in October, in the UK? like it! :)

So as weirdly predicted by me my artyness has kick started its-self... thats a rarety... i still recon its Autumn thats got me all inspired, am so glad. Not being able to create starts to do my head in after a while. Trouble is i cant show you most of it as i have been making gifts for Christmas. Bummer eh? lol. You can have a little look at my Green tomato chutney tho...woooo :D

I finally sorted my way thru 2 and a half thousand (mainly) phone camera pics and really do need to start using my camera again. Although i did charge the battery up on the Samsung L700 other day, but when i took it out found that it will only store 5 pictures! So im guessing i have put the memory card somewhere 'safe'? or its busted.... How annoying either way. So it looks like it will be phone pics still hmm.

Heres a peek at summit new ive been working on.... this is the start of a wish box...hopefully the first of many...watch this space :)

It is actually all finished and ready to go to a loving home i just havent taken the final pics yet!

5 months!? Oh my....

Hello peeps! I cant believe the last time i blogged was back in April! 5 months.... where did that go eh? :D

Summer *ahem* is on its way out, i can feel the seasons changing. Found our first conker today, and picked a lovely colourful crop of veg from up the allotment, so i got my dose of the out doors.

I have so tried to be Arty over the summer but the school holidays are too distracting and my 'me' time becomes 'fall asleep' time hehe.

Isnt it weird how energy levels change through out the year? In September-ish i start to feel all; hmm how would i describe it.... i suppose like many people do in spring time. Autumn is my favorite time of year, the colours, smells and sounds, the air feels different, kind of exciting in a fragmented kind of way.... its blissful. Hoping the beauty of nature will inspire me to put my 'me' time to better use as the nights draw in! I so need to find my creativity again.

So anyways im guessing i will be a little more 'about' on the net, and as i sort my way through the hundreds of 'phone' cam pics...yes i am actually getting on with that goal! im thinking i may post pics of 'stuff'... eventually... you know what im like... a procrastinator! But trying oh so hard to sort my sh*t out... neeed to make sure i start using my camera for photos and not my phone.... phones text people... im waffeling!

Oh hoping everyone had a top summer, thank you to Pud and my friends for making mine the best yet :D
